Pleasantville Community Christmas on Horseback Parade 2023. Every Horse, Pony & Mule is welcome to join us on November 19th for our 5th annual horse parade. This year we would love to have owners with other livestock that will walk on lead or enjoy being carried through the parade. We want to encourage participants to decorate their critters up for the holiday!! We would also like the community to come out to watch the Horse Parade proceed through the town. We are all very excited to share our holiday spirit with everyone. After the event Santa will be available at the fire department for photo ops. and we will have Cookies and Hot Chocolate. Please allow room for the horse trailers to exit the premise. The parade starts at 1:00pm and parade line up at 12:30pm during this time judging will occur for different fun and festive categories. Parade route route has changed this season, it will be starting on East State Street beside the firehall then be turning onto Merrick Street beside Dollar General we will then proceed down North Main Street by Pleasantville School take a turn onto West State Street and ending the parade at the fire department. Parking for the Horse & Livestock trailers will be at the firehall and we will have the firetrucks escorting the participants to the beginning of the parade after judging.
