River Valley Community Resource Center once again is hosting “The Gift of Christmas.” This is a community fundraising event, which will be held on December 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. 100% proceeds going to the charity or nonprofit of your choice. The event in prior years has consisted of decorated trees, children’s arts and crafts, and musical performance. This year, since cookie tables are such an important part of social events in western Pennsylvania, a Christmas Cookie Baking Competition has been added!! You are invited to participate! The cookies will be judged, and monetary prizes will be awarded. We would love you to join us.
