Woman Hit by Truck
Greene Township, Erie County – A woman was killed on Wednesday night when a tractor-trailer struck her on Interstate 90. The 67-year-old’s identity has been withheld by police and first responders. They say that at around 9PM, she exited her vehicle near mile marker 36.5 and then walked into the eastbound traffic lane where she was struck by a passing vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. The driver that struck her remained at the scene for the entire event. An investigation is still underway.

PASSHE Holds of Tuition Decision
Harrisburg – The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education’s board members held off on a vote about university tuition prices until there is a more clear picture of the Pennsylvania State Budget. The PASSHE board chair Cynthia Shapira says they need more time and more information before a decision is made. Tuition for state schools has not increased in four years and costs most state residents about $7,716.
