Weather affects Thurston Classic Events
Meadville – Organizers for the Thurston Classic had to cancel Thursday’s night glow due to weather conditions, but it is still hopeful that they can hold the Ted Watts Sr. Hair and Hound Race at 6 o’clock this evening as there should be a break in today’s stormy weather around that time. The forecast seems to indicate that sanctioned races on Saturday and Sunday will not be affected by the weather. The Thurston Classic has been a family favorite Father’s Day Weekend event since 1988.
